Decorative Fabergé Egg Ring.
Inspired by the Fabergé Egg tradition which was started by the Russian Royal family Czar Alexander III and Nicholas II of Russia between 1885 and 1917. Initially they were Easter gifts to their wives and mothers with a surprise inside the egg. Later on it became a tradition to make an egg to commemorate Holy Days and special celebrations.
There are sixty nine Fabergé eggs made by Peter Carl Fabergé and his assistants. Each egg was unique and handcrafted from precious metals, gemstones and enamel, often featuring coloured glass, gold leaf and laced metalwork.
